Wow! Incredible service! A group of us came in, probably their last large party of the night... From the start, we only had half the party that was in on time and the hostess got that table quickly set up and sat. MVP Raina (server) KILLED it! And for a large party, every staff member was helpful and it didn't seem rushed! Our main girl Raina was very attentive for a party of 11. The service overall, SPOT ON! You can never go wrong with the grindz! We did the "all you can eat" and let me tell you, we took advantage of that! I've had boca rota, which is hands down THE BEST dish! However, i also got to try their alfredo, a little basic. I will say though, it satisfied that crave I had for pasta! The nachos were also flavorful and idk what kind of sauce there was or drippings, but that straight "mops." I definitely underestimated those Uncle Bo's nachos. The fact that they use wonton chips is next level! I will definitely be down to having this again! I also always enjoy the dynamite shrimp. For the all you can eat, it had to be at least a party of 10.... And that filled us up quickly! Overall, definitely coming back again! I was amazed at the level of service and for a large party at 8:30.... That says a lot about their character. Amazing!

We loved Uncle Bo's! The restaurant is located in a small strip outside of the tourist areas in Honolulu. The food is mostly Hawaiian and was excellent. This was one of the better meals we had in Hawaii. Highly recommend!

Food and Service 5/5 ambiance and price : 4/5 The Boca Rota is delicious. Bread with melted cheese on top with tender beef slices and mushroom in a creamy sauce. Service was fast and the server was nice. Cons: The place needs an update. The first time i came here was 6 years ago and it looks the same plus some wear and tear. The prices are a bit on the expensive side - but then - this is Hawaii - everything is more expensive.

Came here after a long day of North Shore surfing. We were starving and the food here looked tasty and in large portions on picture. This turned out to be true, as everything we ordered came in nice, shareable portion sizes. I absolutely loved the nachos (with crispy wonton skin chips) and the grilled catch of the day, which for us was a yummy deep sea fish. The pasta, dynamite shrimp, and crab salad were pretty good as well. We left feeling very satisfied. Service was nice and friendly, and they even helped me with the very difficult to open bathroom door. The bathroom itself is a bit sketchy because it isn't in the building but rather a couple of blocks away through the back door, and requires a key and pushing at a very particular angle to open . We did also have a weird drunk dude walk in waving at our group and being awkward, but I guess that's normal around here because no one else reacted lol. Other than that though, the food and service here are very good! It'll definitely get you nice and full after a day of surfing.

Honestly one of the best meals we had while staying a week in Honolulu/Kapolei. We ordered many items and shared family style. My favorite dishes were the dynamite shrimp (not too much batter, very tasty and didn't need a sauce) and Caesar salad with shrimp (very well dressed, nice portion for a salad and many shrimp on top). The service was great--it gets crowded so we would recommend making a reservation in advance. I didn't get any drinks but people I went with enjoyed the ones they ordered. Not pictured is the bread they also offer as part of an appetizer and can be used to soak in any of the dishes that have a sauce. It's a bit unassuming outside and located on a Main Street so you may have to walk a little from your parking spot. It is absolutely worth it though. They have a nice bar you could sit at and a hidden back room that can fit bigger groups. This is going to be one of my go to restaurants when I visit. See you again soon, Uncle Bo's!

Can be dressed up or down at Uncle Bo's! Great place to eat with family, friends, or have a dinner date. Mood is set with the low lighting but friendly atmosphere from the service and other customers. They have a long list of pupu's (tapas/small dishes), some mains, and drinks of course. We ordered the Boca Roca (5/5, so tasty), calamari (5/5), dynamite shrimp (4/5, kinda mayo heavy), ceviche (4/5), and the Thai steamed clams (5/5, never had this type of dish before). + Brownie ala mode for dessert (5/5!) Everything we ordered tasted amazing and the portions were great to share. We shared these dishes between 4 people family style and there was still leftovers :)
